Excellent for use with Emery Cloth and Sandpaper strips. Emery Cloth

The Slotted Mandrel is 1/4" X 4" shank for use with the Emery Cloth, Sandpaper, Cloth, strips of Cotton, etc. You can make your own style flap wheels by making strips of Emery Cloth (what ever length) and inserting multiple layers into the Slotted Mandrel. Take strips of cotton inserted into the Slotted Mandrel to use with polishing compounds for a high luster. Built from tool grade steel, ground and polished to size for precision shank size, (using over or undersized shanks can cause damage to tools).

Tapered on the end to avoid digging,scratching, or damaging surface.

Professional grade mandrel for use with sand paper strips, cloth. Tapered and smoothed end.

TJ's Tip: "This is one of the more versatile mandrels you can have in the shop. Just put any grit sandpaper strips in the end and you will have the perfect custom flap wheel. Vary the rpm and you can achieve different surface textures. Placing cloth or other soft materials in the slotted mandrel can give you the ideal polishing tool."
